“The Vampire Diaries” star Ian Somerhalder prefers Bad-ass Character
“The Vampire Diaries’ star Ian Somerhalder shares how he missed the attitude of his character from the previous season.

The actor who plays the role of Damon Salvatore in the said CW series revealed that if he were to choose he would prefer his bad-ass vampire character than his current portrayal. He said in an interview that though it may sound sadistic, he likes to the attitude of Damon where he rips off everybody’s heads off and the bad ass lines he gets to deliver. Right now, Damon had transformed and changed in a good attitude character.
Ian added that the kissing scene with Elena, portrayed by Nina Dobrev, in season two finale was really not that passionate. He said that he hears feedbacks saying that it was a very passionate kiss but Ian said that maybe the viewers did not noticed that Damon was pale, bleeding and sweating at that time. He adds that there is nothing passionate about the scene that is why he was surprised to hear that viewers found it otherwise. But then, the actor jokingly added how he remembers the kissing scene with Elena.
Just recently, it was revealed that Stefan will have no conscience at all in the upcoming third season of Vampire Diaries. Actor Paul Wesley, portraying the role of Stefan, said that he enjoys his dark side character.
