This episode had everything a viewer would want, it was such an amazing episode, if its emotion you seek, there were fake funerals, if you are a fan of action, there was a high speed car pursuit in a very dangerous place and a murder. And it was filled with mystery and deceptions which resulted in a lot of shocking scenes and discoveries. And of course every episode of “ The Vampire diaries” must have romance, as Tyler finally said his two cents in a love announcement, which was then mixed with action as he almost bit Caroline’s and caused her death. This makes this episode “Our Town” filled with everything to satisfy every watcher’s taste.
Going further into the details of the show, first of, Ms. Caroline Forbes, she made us all depressed seeing her this sad, and the surprise was served to us when Klaus turned out to be the one who will make her smile, and this makes us wonder if he would actually speak out, because we all know despite his dangerous and dark look, he has a heart, but his sudden care towards Caroline is suspicious, and it makes us think that there is something behind it.
And as for Stefan, with his amazing poker face, makes us really wonder if he was the one to drive Elena over the bridge or no. And although Stefan might look tough and heartless, and he pretends that protecting Klaus’s sibling is his priority and that protecting and saving Elena is Damon’s job, but no one actually believes this, because we all know how guys act after they get heartbroken.
And of course, we all know things got serious when we see Damon scared, especially when he was begging Klaus to follow Stefan’s orders, this also showed that Elena means so much for him. As for Elena, everyone can relate to her and to how she feels, she feels safe with Stefan and feels rebellious when she is with Damon. It must be hard for her to realize that she isn’t innocent anymore and things are now grey, not black and white as they used to be.
And then we come to the murder that happened at the end of the episode, and it makes us wonder why would the sheriff suspect Damon, while it is just a regular murder, but it can be because the Medical Examiner did cover up the vampire kills and tagged them as animal attack.
Looks like more tragedy and pain await Stefan and Elena, as The Vampire Diaries’ executive producer Julie Plec hinted in an interview about something ‘devastating’ that Stefan would have to do in next week’s episode.
